The Proximity USB Desktop Card Reader will read the 10 digit U.I.D code number of any EM-RFID Wiegand 26 bit 125 KHz card or key fob using this format - It will not read MIFARE cards/fobs
This unit is an ideal time saver hand writing all the code numbers printed on the card or key fob and then typing them out
Simply plug the unit in to a USB port on your computer, the unit will bleep to confirm communication and that is it! - No software required or additional software drivers to download, it's 'Plug and Play' operation
To generate a card or key fob list:
Some manufacturers of Wiegand RFID cards or key fobs may label them with either the 8 digit Wiegand or 10 digit U.I.D code number or none at all
With the Proximity USB Desktop Card Reader it will provide the 10 digit U.I.D code number required.To do this, ensure the unit is connected to the computer, open Notepad, Word or Excel on the computer, present a card or key fob over the unit and it will display the correct 10 digit U.I.D code number - it's that simple
