This unit is not compatible with our PC access control systems

The Proximity USB Desktop Card Reader U.I.D will read the 10 digit U.I.D code number of any RFID Wiegand 26 bit 125 KHz card or key fob using this format - It will not read MIFARE cards/fobs

This unit is ideal in conjunction with our access control kits and Key fob readers only where you have several cards or key fobs. A time saving unit as opposed to hand writing all the code numbers printed on the card or key fob and then typing them out in order to populate a user list

Simply plug the unit in to a USB port on your computer, the unit will bleep to confirm communication and that is it! - No software required or additional software drivers to download, it's 'Plug and Play' operation

To generate a card or key fob list:
To do this, ensure the unit is connected to the computer, open Notepad or Word on the computer, present a card or key fob over the unit and it will display the 10 digit U.I.D code number - it's that simple

This unit is designed for use with our range of access control kits and key fob readers only, (Not our pc access control systems) where you have several cards or key fobs

The Proximity USB Desktop Card Reader is specifically designed for use with our PC access controlled systems to enable speed of programming cards or key fobs in order to provide the 8 digit Wiegand code number that the AC8000 software requires
