Overview
The Access Control Kit 7 is a comprehensive keypad access control system designed for standard PIN and/or key fob entry requirements. Ideal for homes, offices, or any other access control solution, this kit includes a fail-secure lock release, an exit button, a power supply, and a dual PIN/fob door reader.
Important Note on Lock Release: The fail-secure lock release requires power to unlock. Therefore, it is not recommended for connection to a fire alarm, as continuous power could cause irreparable damage to the lock release coil. For fire alarm integration, a fail-open lock release and a green emergency break switch are required (available as optional choices when ordering).
Both fail-secure and fail-safe lock releases are compatible with standard Yale-style rim or mortice latches (required, not included). They are not compatible with deadlock locking devices.
