The DBC4A1 is a 4-way branch connector designed for our Prestige 2-wire video entry systems. It allows you to connect a maximum of four door panels and/or four video monitors. For information on additional required items, please consult the FAQ section below.

What is the DBC4A1 unit?
The DBC4A1 is a universal 4-way distributor. It enables you to connect up to four door panels to your video entry system. It can also be used to connect up to four video monitors when using a "star" cabling configuration.
A star configuration is when each video monitor cable runs to a central point. In this setup, you will need one DBC4A1 distributor for every four video monitors. If your monitor cables are "looped" (daisy-chained from one monitor to the next), you will not need a DBC4A1 for your monitors.
Do I need any additional items?
- Replacing an existing unit: No additional items are required.
- Adding an extra door panel: You must use the larger PS5 power supply. You can find this in our accessories section.
- Adding extra door panels (2 to 4): You will need one DBC4A1 distributor and the larger PS5 power supply.
General Rule of Thumb:
- Use one DBC4A1 for up to four door panels.
- Use one DBC4A1 for every four video monitors if they are wired in a star configuration.
