While DoorEntryOnline Ltd does not directly undertake installations, we can connect you with an experienced company for most of our access control and video entry systems. If you require installation, please email us with your postcode, and we will forward your details to one of our approved installers who will contact you directly. Hiring an Installer
To ensure a successful installation, we strongly recommend hiring a qualified professional, such as a door entry/access control specialist or an electrician with proven experience in this field. An improper installation can lead to damaged equipment and higher costs in the long run.
Important Installation Guidelines
Our systems are designed for straightforward installation by qualified professionals. While advanced DIY is possible, we cannot provide step-by-step guidance over the phone. For the best results, please adhere to the following:
- Cabling: Do not install new cabling before selecting your system, as different equipment has specific cable requirements. If you plan to use existing wiring for an upgrade, please consult us first.
- Existing Wiring: Before connecting new equipment, thoroughly test your existing cables for short circuits or grounding issues. Many system failures are due to faulty wiring, not the new equipment itself.
Always download and review the manuals and drawings available in the "Specification & Manual" tab for your chosen system. If you have any doubts, please email us for assistance before you begin.
