Overview
The Access Control Kit 9 is a complete keypad access control system ideal for homes, offices, and other standard security needs. The kit includes a dual PIN and key fob door reader, a fail-secure lock release, an exit button, and a power supply.
Important Note: This kit includes a fail-secure lock release, which requires power to unlock. It is not suitable for connection to a fire alarm system, as continuous power during an emergency will damage the lock. For fire alarm integration, a fail-open lock release and an emergency break switch are required (available as optional extras). This lock release is compatible with standard rim or mortice latches (like a typical Yale lock) but not with deadlock devices.
